I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University. Between Fall 2014 and Spring 2019, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Oklahoma. I received my Ph.D. from the Wilf Family Department of Politics at New York University in May 2013. During the 2013-14 academic year I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law at Stanford University.
I am a co-founder of the Community Engagement + Experiments Lab at the University of Oklahoma and I served on its faculty advisory board.
I am a co-organizer of the Minority Politics Online Seminar Series (MPOSS).
I am the founder of the Experiential Learning and Fieldwork Lab in the Political Science Department at Michigan State University.
